Please forgive the delay!! It has been a very busy couple of weeks. The changes we talked about earlier are finally done and our new website and new online store is up and running!! 

We hope you enjoy the new look! You will also find that the new online store is very user friendly and should make your experience quick and easy. 

Please remember we roast to order. This guarantees your coffee is fresh and of the best quality when you receive it. You have the option of ordering whole bean or choosing from two different grind options. 

We plan to have our newsletter set up soon so that customers can subscribe for news on special offers and coupon codes.

With all that in mind we thank you for your patience and hope these changes make your experience with us a very pleasant one. We would love to get the word out about our awesome product!

Coffee...not just a breakfast and dessert beverage!

Coffee is an amazing beverage. Its every bit as diverse and complex as wine. Coffee shares a broad spectrum of flavors and undertones depending on the region where it grown, the altitude, the crops growing around the coffee, and the type of roast it is. Its hard to imagine that so many variables can have such an effect on your morning brew!

Just to give you an example, our organic coffee from Chiapas, Mexico is nutty and full of amazing dark chocolate undertones where as our organic Peru is citrusy with hints of lemongrass. Our Mexico would pair perfectly with a savory spicy meal where as our Peru would better compliment maybe a nice Mediterranean dish, full of fresh flavors. 

Coffee can be the perfect companion to meals other than breakfast and dessert. Which is why we decided to map it out for you. We have created a chart to help guide you to pairing your coffee with different types of cuisine. 

We also made new labels for the back of our coffee bags to go along with our new charts!!

The primary color along the side shows you which group of cuisine this coffee would best compliment however many of our coffees go great with other types as well which is why we have also included smaller strips of color to indicate what else you might be able to pair it with. 

We hope this new system helps you to further enjoy this remarkable bean!!

New things coming your way!

Welcome to our new blog!!

We are very excited to be keeping everyone in the loop about what's going on at Ferra Coffee. So far it has been an amazing month with lots of new and exciting changes. Here's the scoop..

First we were able to hire a full time roaster. Anna started in March and will be roasting for us full time giving Susan some much needed help to go out and spread the word about just how awesome our coffee is! 

Next we are in the process of transitioning to a new online store! This store will be much more user friendly and will make your online ordering experience much more enjoyable and simple. In addition to a new online store we are changing the size of our retail bags from 12 ounces to 1 pound!! That's an extra 4 OUNCES of much needed coffee and for all you coffee lovers those extra 4 ounces can make all the difference ;) . Some more fantastic news is that in addition to changing the size of our coffee we are also going to be having free shipping...once again that was free shipping. Free shipping is awesome. We always get questions from folks about where they can find our coffee. Starting next week we will be using this blog to highlight all of our clients. We will introduce you to the chef's and shop owners and give you an inside look at their menus and products. We work hard with our clients to pair the perfect blend with their menus so that every visit to their establishment is a delicious assault on the senses...especially the taste. Also for the clients that sell our coffee retail, follow us on Facebook for updates on deliveries just in case you can't wait for the online order to come in. Grab a bag of coffee and some yummy eats along the way. 

Subscribe to our blog for updates on new clients, new coffee profiles, special offers and maybe some fun contests! In addition and most importantly, we will be keeping our readers informed during our trips to visit our growers because at the end of the day they are the reason for why we do what we do. As always our mission is to support and help our growers so that they can produce an excellent product for our customers while be able to provide for their families.
